Overview

Pittsburgh's Superhero Day will be a celebration of everyday heroes. We will educate the public on the importance of being a hero within their community and beyond. Placing emphasis on superhero values such as: Community, Tolerance, Bravery, Justice, and Truth.

We will present programs within the schools including assemblies and hands-on workshops on "building character through building comic characters."

A special comic book will be produced on "How to Be a Hero."

An exhibit of supehero original art will be created.

Other events will include, screenings, lectures, community outreach, the heroes gala and more.

We will promote many ways you can be a supehero including:
Supporting the arts.
Volunteering.
Helping around the house.
Supporting your community.
Being a mentor.
and many other ways.

We will partner with school districts, comic book stores, comic-cons, regional non-profits and like minded social organizations to help further the mission and goals of the events.
