The "Apple for my students" project would add a lab of 25 iPOD Touch units into the science classroom.  With technology availability at a minimum at my school, the Touch lab would give a cost effective way to give every student in a class the ability to use the applications and search tools of the Touch.  Each student will have instant access to the internet and applications to organize and communicate what is learned. 

What would the iPOD Touch be used for at school?
1.  Research tool

2.  Share learning between students, teachers, and anyone in the world

2.  Resource for video, pictures, and graphics as we study the human body

3.  Resource for weather maps and charts

4.  Tool for recording data during lab investigations

5.  Innovative learning--The most exciting idea about adding an iPOD Touch lab is that the students will come up with their own exciting ways of learning and showing what they've learned.
