The Green SITE participants will be immersed in an academically rigorous program designed to educate students about how to successfully enroll and excel at the university level, while training them on the impact that the green economy and related career fields will have in their communities. These youth will be matched with current UCLA students that will serve as peer mentors that will volunteer to guide them over their 2 year community college experience.
