Overview

Each semester Camp Wildcat holds two "Big Camps". Each Big Camp lasts for a weekend (Friday-Sunday) where we travel with 40-60 fourth and fifth graders from a Tucson elementary school of our choosing. The school must fall under Title I, which means that the majority of the students attending the school qualify for the free or reduced-cost lunch programs. We offer many different activities for the students on camp, including songs and games, mini theater skits, small hikes, team-building activities, and rotations. Typical camp rotations include crafts, environmental projects and awareness, a science rotation, and a rotation where the children have the opportunity to create their own skit. Each Big Camp costs between about $1500 and $2500 dollars, which includes two contracted buses to and from the campsite, food, camping supplies, and supplies for rotations.
