Overview
The 3rd annual YOUTHFEST is a one-day youth summit for 300 New York City youth, ages 12-18. This year's summit will consist of a 90-minute interactive discussion session about sexual health, HIV/AIDS, abstinence and prevention. The discussion session will be separated by gender to allow for a more intimate conversation. Panelists will include men and women from the health, entertainment corporate and sports industries, as well as, educators and community leaders.
Another highlight of YOUTHFEST is the Activity Fair, which provides the opportunity for partnering health and wellness brands and youth organizations to set up a booth area that the kids visit to get important information and give-a-ways.
A final feature of the event is the performance segment. Local and national recording artists, dance groups and poets will entertain the youth with exciting performances that promote positive messages. YOUTHFEST is free for youth and complimentary food and beverages are provided.
