Overview
The way Wish for Our Heroes works is very simple - click on www.wish4ourheroes.org. If you know of a deserving military member or their family, click 'submit a wish' on our website, and enter the requested info. Our volunteers screen through the wishes to ensure legitimacy, then we post the wish back on the website. Click 'grant a wish' to see the wishes available to grant. If you see a wish that touches you, click 'donate' to donate through Pay Pal to donate toward that wish. 100% of your donation (minus Pay Pal fees) is paid directly toward the wish you selected.
Our Foundation launched just 3 months ago - November 2009. In our first 3 months, we have granted 17 wishes, spanning 7 states, at a value of $25,000.
With this grant, we will provide a menu of wishes online for users and fans to vote on which wishes will be granted using the Pepsi Grant Money. 100% OF THE GRANT MONEY WILL BE CONTRIBUTED DIRECTLY TOWARD GRANTING WISHES.
