Overview

The 2010 DOUGHMAN Race in Madison, WI will be a self-propelled culinary race that highlights the cuisine, unique landmarks, and distinctive character of Madison, while fostering community pride and exposing locals and visitors alike to the diverse features and culture within the greater community.

Our proceeds will be donated to support increased access to fresh, local, and sustainably produced foods for Wisconsin schools through school meal and snack programs. We will explore opportunities to build reliable markets for local sustainable farmers and food processors within school food services.

Deliverables:

  • Annual Race-100 teams, 400 competitors
  • 5 Restaurant sponsors
  • 15-mile approved race route
  • 25 Volunteers for day of event
  • 1 Fun-filled, physical and appetite exhausting day!

 

How will the 50K be Used?
