Buy Vroom Vroom Van to Transport Darlington, SC Shelter Pets to RescueDarlington Humane Society

The "Vroom Vroom Van" project brings together unwanted shelter pets in Darlington SC with waiting foster homes & approved animal rescue groups along the East Coast.
This rural high kill shelter is faced with euthanizing healthy dogs & cats for space on a near-weekly basis. We transport pets from the shelter every weekend to rescue, as well as to a low cost spay neuter clinic.  We are limited in the size & number of pets that can be transported by the volunteer drivers' small car size.  We cannot move the waiting pets out fast enough to prevent euthanasia for space.  This project will provide us with a much needed tool to continue saving pets & increasing the # of altered pets in this rural community.  The DHS Rescue Team wants to continue "creating forever families all across the USA".  The purchase of this van will allow us to do just that.
