Overview

Turtle Talks is an eco-literacy program.  When Zander Srodes, was fourteen years old he authored a children's activity book. The Turtle Talks Activity Book is about the worlds sea turtles and is an always "FREE."  It has been given to children in the United States and the Caribbean. It has been mailed to youngsters all over the world. The book is available in 4 languages. Over 100,000 copies have been printed and given away. Turtle Talks also has a book on freshwater turtles and the gopher tortoise.

This projects focus is to print copies of the Turtle Talks activity book in French and Spanish to give and send to underserved communities. This fun with a purpose book can encourage literacy by entertaining and working children’s minds. The dot to dot, maze, word search, and coloring pages can be enjoyed by many age groups. The facts and vocabulary are skill building.
