Overview
The Tree House indoor playground will provide a safe, clean, place for preschool children to get much needed exercise and play developmentally appropriate for young children. It will also provide a comfortable environment for parents to receive community support and resources with other parents while knowing that their adventuresome children are engaging in healthy activities.
The Tree House will provide 25 hours of open play and 10 hours a week of scheduled programming targeting the physical, emotional and social development of children.
KFRC will partner with Early Head Start/Head Start, the Intermediate School District and the Health Department to identiify families needing special programming and services.
KFRC has secured funding from the local hospitals, businesses and indivuduals to support the renovations and construction of the main playspace.The Tree House has the potential to become a hub of wellness for families in our community.

| Budget Notes: Protective flooring is essential for the safety of children. Installation will be provided by volunteers in the community. The play space has 16 foot ceilings so fans are necessary for energy efficiency and heat distribution. Dropped ceilings will be installed in office and parent resource room. | |
