Overview

The ultimate vision of The Teacher Salary Project is to propel teaching into the financially attractive, prestigious, and competitive profession it needs to be. We dream of a nation where every child – not just students in wealthy and middle class schools – will have stellar teachers, who not only inspire and challenge students to live up to their potential, but grow in their profession to shape whole communities. The Teacher Salary Project will both build the necessary drive around this issue and provide the concrete tools to reshape our educational system dramatically, one district at a time.

We are working backwards from our screening premiere event by scheduling a national town hall on May 3, 2011, National Teacher Day, where our feature-length film will be seen in theaters around the country. We hope that you will join us in our endeavor to complete this feature film, helping to spread the message of The Teacher Salary Project and launch this vital movement.
