Provide "Monkey In My Chair" kits to children that have cancerLove, Chloe Foundation

This money will go to supply the items to put together about 350 Monkey In My Chair kits.  They are sent to individuals and hospitals all over the United States.  Children that are diagnosed with cancer and are away from school can send a monkey to fill their seat until they are able to attend.  This is a great program that fills an emotional need with the child and their classmates.  It helps the classmates understand better why their friend is away and how they may look differently when they return.  The Monkey comes with a backpack, a children's book titled, There's a Monkey In My Chair, a journal, photo album, camera, pens and pencils and a duffle bag.  There is also a Teacher Companion that is for the classroom teacher to use along with the program. 

The need for kits continues to increase leaving us with a waiting list for hospitals.  We hope to receive the funding to help fill this need.
