Overview

The Refuge Youth Center is a safe alternative to the empty homes and large shopping centers teens flock to every day. We will provide an environment that allows for teens to do all the recreational things they already do: skateboard, basketball, homework, art, music, auto repair, the list is endless. We will provide it everyday, and for free. In return we ask each student to participate on a bi-monthly basis in our city's social services that we have partnered with. Soup kitchens, homeless shelters, nursing homes, and shut-in visitation. The consistent exposure to making a positive difference in the life of another human being will help develop a more mature and compassionate adult.
