Overview
The "Path to Tomorrow" project creates a setting where guests to the Lemur Center learn of the lemur's plight and are empowered to take action on behalf of lemurs and other endangered species. This will be accomplished by creating a walkway that is accessible and safe for guests and habitats that are comfortable and safe for animals. The pathway will include interactive displays which help professional and volunteer tour guides inform the public about the plight of lemurs and their fellow endangered animals and about ways we all can help. Deliverables: On an annual basis, >15,000 guests will receive information on how to help endangered lemurs and other endangered species. Increase volunteer hours by 20%. Increase operating revenue by 20% thereby supporting the study and care of animals at the Center. A space to accommodate school groups/ large audiences so they can learn to protect the environment and save endangered species.
