Overview
With this grant, our impact within City Charter High School and the robotics community would be greatly expanded. Students would be able to learn more about the different realms of technology post high school. We will be able to expand our program to underrepresentated populations.
The overall improvement to the build, programming, and marketing aspects would attract a greater number of students to the technology field. The money would go towards new and improved tools and attending more regional robotics events. The increased shop experience will allow an easier hands-on experience for eager students. The education, teamwork, leadership, and confidence gained from attending regional events will prove invaluable in the future.
More money would allow the team to become more involved within the local robotics community with various workshops and activities to help spread the message of inspiring the youth to take initiative in their futures and become the leaders of their generation.
