Goals
- Development of the Planned Sustainability Program
- Continued development of the Musicians Resource Center
- Continued development of the Medical Assistance Program
- Continued development of the Living Resources Program
Overview
While some emergency resources do exist for medical treatment, there are almost no options for disability coverage when a musician is permanently or temporarily disabled. In addition, an illness, injury or age related challenge can have a far reaching and long lasting impact on a musicians ability to perform and earn an income. In response Sweet Relief currently administers three distinct programs of assistance, which these funds will help expand: the medical assistance program, the living resources program and the musicians resource center. Combined these programs provide support for living expenses, medical treatments and provide personal consultation services. These funds will also assist in the development of our planned sustainability program, offering information and resources that provide musicians with long term solutions they face within their chosen profession.

| Budget Notes: Sweet Relief takes its fiscal responsibilities seriously. Our office expenses are less than $1000 a month and our web development and marketing costs have all been donated during this past year. In addition, over its history 85 cents of every dollar donated has gone directly to program services. | |
