Overview

Student Veterans of America will expand current operations funding a national mental health program that will operate out of each campus chapter to help student veterans struggling with depression and post-traumatic stress and establish a Wounded Injured and Ill Veterans Educational Transition Team that will place team members in military hospitals across the United States assisting veterans in attaining their educational goals by mentoring and connecting wounded and injured veterans at the military hospitals with members of local chapters.

Chapter grants and a student scholarship fund will directly support student veterans with financial Assistance, organizational representation on college campuses, and increase the quality of life for returning veterans.  Student Veterans of America will expand its staff by 8 members to implement and manage these programs.
