Overview

STACKD is a hyperlocal social network for individual buildings. We believe that based on proximity alone, these communications have a great deal of importance in our lives. STACKD enables office neighbors to get together over business or beers and share resources – from extra conference room space to new projects.

We would like to think that it's the people around you that should be part of your social network: people you meet in the elevator rather than on Facebook, people you follow to the 14th floor instead of on Twitter. We imagine that sharing resources between multiple floors play a role in making the city and its use of space more efficient.

With a Pepsi grant, we would create events that help getting people in touch and promote to become a STACKD ambassador who spreads the message. The online platform STACKD.biz needs more features and functionalities to enable people becoming a real community. We would use a part of the grant for planning, design and programming.
