Overview
Project "Spoke for Folks" is a project that helps individuals who lack reliable transportation by providing them with a new bicycle and the knowledge of how to use it to change their lives. Many people have a difficult time holding down a regular job or finishing school because they lack transportation. "Spoke for Folks" will change that. We will provide a bicycle, helmet, a safety seminar, and bicycle maintenance seminar, to empower these residents to improve their financial and physical well-being.
Deliverables:100+ residents will receive a bicycle, helmet, lock, and small toolkit along with training on how to use and maintain the bicycle. Follow-up with recipients to make sure they haven't run into issues.
