Overview
Through our strong relationship with the military community, our staff will locate 10 wounded soldiers, sailors, airmen, or marines who are determined fit for and have the desire to learn to fly fish and travel to Hawaii with the assistance of certified adaptive fly fishing instructors.
All travel, lodging, meals, equipment, activities, technical clothing, accessories, personal items, guide services, and incidentals will be provided at no cost to the disabled military personnel. And after the trip, the durable items such as rods, reels, sunglasses, clothing, and so forth are theirs to keep in the hope that they will continue to participate in the sport of fly fishing.
We will travel as a group to Hawaii using commercial air transportation and fish and partake in a few other challenging and enjoyable activities for a period of 5 days (plus 2 travel days). The certified instructor ratio is approximately 3 students per instructor. And we hire licensed and insured guides.
