In our Richmond VA area, there are several low income communities where families don't have the proper resources to send their children to college, and unfortunately, many innercity schools don't prepare them for college academically.  School counselors help, but it's not enough.  Our program helps students with higher education goals to reach those goals by helping with college aid and tutoring as needed, and we continue to help them straight through their college years.
