Overview

Drastic cuts will eliminate some or all of the following programs: Instrument music teacher, Concert band, Jazz band, Marching band, Gospel choir, show choir, and the school play. Unlike some other sports and activities, these programs welcome students of all different abilities. The money would be used to pay for a music staff, funding for summer music programs, instruments, proper uniforms, and other costs  associated with these programs. The band in the past few years has set a new school record. We have placed higher in competition than ever before. Without funding, our marching band will be discontinued and our forward progress will come to a halt. Our band director has instilled a passion for music in his students, giving us the discipline to better not only our playing, but also our unity.  This program is just as important as any other program in our school.  Please help us to save it!!
