Preserve a local movie theater and revitalize our main street.Rosendale Theatre Collective

Most of us have a local movie theater that we either recall enjoying when we were young or are fortunate enough to continue to enjoy despite the giant conglomerate theaters with high-priced tickets and even higher-priced concessions. Most of us know that the local movie theater is one of the few affordable ways to be entertained, escaping into new and incredible worlds. Our local movie theater is up for sale. In response, we have called upon friends and neighbors who pulled and donated the money needed for us to make an offer on the property and develop a business and architectural plan. This grant will provide us with the remainder of our fundraising needs, allowing us to finalize the purchase. If you know the Rosendale Theatre, vote for its preservation and the revitalization on Rosendale’s Main Street. If you do not know Rosendale, then vote as an endorsement of applying grass-roots efforts to preserve art and culture and community.
