Goals

  • To build a facility to shelter dogs that are in need of a home
  • To provide training for dogs with fear-based behavior issues
  • To find adoptive and long term homes for our rescued dogs

Overview

Each week my 8 year old son and myself go to both of our local animal shelters to volunteer our time and assist in walking the dogs. It breaks our heart that many of these dogs will simply run out of time before a home is found for them. The shelters are over-crowded and under-funded. We are known as "the dog people" because we have accepted into our home many unwanted dogs that were found malnourished or lost. We have spent our time, money, and love to get these animals healthy and happy and placed in stable home environments. I currently own my home and land. We would like to operate as a non-profit group to provide shelter, in a safe, "no-kill" environment for dogs that are in need. We will train these dogs if needed and work with local vets to achieve positive health standards. Our goal is to find adoptive homes for the dogs.
