Overview

Many low-income students in the U.S. face a lot pressure when deciding to go to a college or helping their family by working. Usually those students pick to help their family because they feel like they don't have enough money or they don't have a competitive edge to go to a reputable university. One of the most important aspects of getting into a reputable college is making your college resume stand out. While the SAT and ACT are not a determining factor for entrance into a college, It helps very much if those scores are very good. We would like to create SAT/ACT classes for low-income students who otherwise do not take the exam or do not do well on the exam because they do not know what to expect. Now more than ever, SAT/ACT tutoring classes can run from 5,000 to 15,000 which can be hard for a low-income family. With our free SAT/ACT classes, Project: One World United will try to help low-income students get a competitive advantage.
