Overview
The Peacock Foundation project unites children and animals in an effort to provide compassion and healing to both. Our programs are designed to teach and socialize both the abused and neglected children we work with and the abused and neglected animals we rescue. Through their journey together the animals and the children: learn healthy boundaries, how to set them and how to honors others; express their emotions safely; anger management; social and relational skills; and just how to manuever through the despair and danger that they live in.Our program is an ongoing animal assisted therapy program that promotes simple and practical ways to increase self worth, build healthy relationships, and build empathy. When you are surrounded by homeless adults, prostitution, mentally unstable adults, and violence how do you stay optimistic and avoid those circumstances derailing your future? For children they look for someone to come in and help them. Help us save them!
