Outdoors For A Cause is a non-profit organization which brings together outdoor activities and raising money for charitable organizations and causes. We believe that if people are given an easy way to raise money while doing the outdoor activities they enjoy, together, we can make a difference while maintaining healthier, happier lifestyles. Deliverables: 1) Create a website that supports our "3 Easy Steps" approach to fundraising. Step 1: Choose an outdoor event Step 2: Pick a charity Step 3: Start Fundraising! 2) In Year 1 our goal is for 200 users to raise an estimated $500,000 for charitable organizations 3) Grow a community of individual fundraisers engaged in outdoor activities through which all donations go directly to charitable organizations 4) Gain awareness through marketing efforts targeted at the athletic community to include, but not limited to, exhibiting at outdoor events, partnerships with events as the official fundraising organization and event sponsorship.
