Goals

  • Keep Sports Programs in the School for over 374 students

Overview

With the state and local deficit, the students in the school are at risk of losing their sports programs.  Over 300 students will be effected if funds are not raised to continue the programs.  The programs consist of Football, Softball, Baseball, Soccer, Golf, Wrestling, Cheerleading and Swimming.  The Booster club is currently doing many fundraising to simply keep the programs active.  The school has a deficit of approximately $20,000 to simply be able to offer sports to the students.  In addition, the equipment that the students use is horribly outdated and unsafe.  The football team alone is using equipment that is over ten years old and desperately needs to be updated. While obesity is on the rise in the USA, school sports programs can help offset that with the physical activity and mentoring for children on healthy eating and lifestyles.  All the coaches for each program are commited to educating children on the importance of each of these.

How will the 25K be Used?
