Overview

Operation Sweet Dreams was started after I realized that some children go to bed in the clothes they wore to school and played in all day. When money is tight, buying items such as pajamas are often put on hold because parents need to pay for rent, food, and other items like diapers. There I was pregnant with horrible morning sickness that lasted all day but I wanted to make a difference in my community. I was limited to what I could do from home so I began "one pair of pajamas at a time" and have continued that same way.

My goal is to be able to provide "sweet dreams" to children by making sure they have a new pair of pajamas, a book, and a new toothbrush, regardless of their family's current financial situation.

We have provided over 300 pairs of pajamas since we began in 2009. If we were granted funding through this project we would be able to provide 1,500 local children with "sweet dreams". The funds would be used to purchase pajamas and books!

How will the 25K be Used?

$ 20,000 New Children's Pajamas
