Overview

The Academy of Equine Sciences is a unique, specialized, public charter school that teaches students about the field of equestrian studies. It was founded in 2006 and was the first of its kind in the country.  There is a great shortage of qualified Veterinarians throughout the country and when a student graduates from the Academy of Equine Sciences (AES for short) they will be able to apply to most major colleges and universities offering Equestrian Degree programs with knowledge and skills that far exceed the basic entry level student.  The graduates of AES have all gone on to major universities pursuing degrees in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Horse Thereapy Programs, and Equestrian Journalism.  The awarding of this grant will enable AES to finish the school year and continue into the summer with the planning of the fall semester at which time we will receive partial, limited funding from the State of New Hampshire.  Our success rate is 100%.
