Overview

The New World Project addresses the limited experience of inner city youth in underserved neighborhoods. The Project has three components:

  • Bring 60 children ages 6-13 to our comprehensive country day camp in the summer.
  • Bring 480 high school students to 2 & 3 day overnight programs to build academic success, leadership, community, and fitness.
  • Bring 480 middle and high school students single day adventure team building programs

The Project will introduce participants to the worlds of possibility the can be found inside each person. The country day camp opens up the natural world for exploration. The overnights create opportunities to live, learn, and play in community with the responsibilities and rewards therein. The day programs are team building experiences that strengthen relationships and provide opportunities to lead. All three program components create fitness with exercise and good nutrition. The overnights add the role of a full night's sleep in success.
