Goals

  • Promote all the Dads who are heroes to their children

Overview

Our Alliance for Fatherhood and Children will team up with our local Pepsi product distributor and several Pepsi retail customers for this outreach project. We will aggressively seek (via nomination forms) area children's simple nominations of their fathers as their "everyday heroes" and reasons why.  A central clearing house for those nominations will result in "dads as heroes" being posted on our www.nowbeadad.com website as well as featured in continuous paid television and newspaper ads. 
Our campaign focus is:  My father is a Dad.  And MY DAD is a HERO.
By proactively promoting simple yet impactful daily acts of what children perceive as heroic (caring and loving), we will promote effective fatherhood and, we believe, will have a positive impact on the growing number (over 10,000 in our region alone) of homes with absentee fathers.
Our campaign will show men how important they are in the lives of children.

How will the 250K be Used?

Budget Notes: Does cover project managment, website, tv and print ads for one year. Does not cover outreach expenses beyond one year.
