Moore's Memorial COGIC, is located in one of Memphis's literacy red zones. Our church purchased a home next door to our build last year in hopes of starting a literacy program for the community, as well as a place of safety for people in need. We want the house to be a muilt fuctioning place where people can receive their GED's,tutoring, food, clothing and other basic needs.Because we are so small we have yet to start the remodeling of the house due to the lack of funds. This program will not only better our community it will help the entire city by giving people a second changes on having a better life.
