Overview

Microchip USA will expand from the pilot in Cincinnati to a network of vets & clinics in Ohio willing to implant pet microchips for a cost of $20.  Participating vet professionals will donate the cost of the microchip as a means of bringing potential new clients to their practice.  All marketing for the program is paid by the program, participating vet professionals are not required to advertise.

The $20 fee to participants is paid on-line via the zip-code lookup web site.  Participants are issued a certificate electronically for the selected vet professional permitting them to schedule an appointment for the implant procedure.  Participants will receive auto responder reminders to register their microchip with a national registry to ensure their pet's lifeline home.

A portion of the fee paid by program participants supports Pet Alliance to continue the creation of additional pet life-saving programs.
