- Create/promote PSAs to help people make better choices re: food
- i.e.: Why should you spend more money on buying free-range eggs?
- i.e.: Why shouldn’t you buy blueberries in January?
- i.e.: Buy grass-fed beef, not grain-fed.
- i.e.: How to roast a whole chicken instead of buying chix tenders.

Overview
This grant money will be used for creating community outreach with a multi-part video series that helps people in the community make better, smarter choices about their food. They are a visual, interactive guide on What to Cook and How to Shop, thus addresing a real problem faced by consumers. This is a campaign for anyone who shops for food. Eating in our time has become very complicated. It's hard these days for Americans to know what to eat. They are bombarded with experts and headlines telling them what is and what isn't good for them. Until consumers start making better choices and demanding more, supermarkets will not change and will continue to focus their efforts on packaged foods. These PSAs help to promote a dialogue on a national scale via USDA, non-profits, and/or White House food initiatives. Our plan is to use grant monies to develop, film and then promote these PSAs.
