Overview
The Fields of Lupine Festival celebrates the Lupine flowers blooming wild all over this area of New Hampshire. As part of this festival, sponsored by the , I have coordinated an open-air Market that provides all ages with entertainment while they also learn about our area.
In 2010, we want to feature NH's Fish & Game "Forever Locked Moose" Exhibit. This life-size taxidermy of two Bull Moose locked in battle is a museum quality attraction and educational exhibit. This Festival is an excellent location for folks to learn more about this fascinating animal and also about the many services provided by NH's Fish & Game Department.
Besides the Moose Exhibit, we feature local artisans giving demonstrations of their skills: wood carving, spinning wool, basket-making, and more. We also provide free musical entertainment from local bands and this year want to introduce a local band with music that children will enjoy.
