Gigoit, Inc. started out as two friends with an idea to help reduce landfill waste. It has now grown into over a million users since it became publicly available on January 1st of 2007.

Our upcoming service will be branded under the name "Local Reuse" and will prevent landfill waste, reduce tax liability for corporations and increase material donations to all kinds of charities, from battered women shelters to educational causes.

Individuals, Organizations and universities have expressed an interest in a way to improve and promote their reuse efforts. Our system will allow them to find a local non‐profit where they will receive a tax deduction for their charitable donation. Charities will be able to provide information regarding the types of goods they accept.

In addition to our bootstrapping efforts over since 2007, the partnerships we have established have eliminated our operating expenses. We are currently seeking $250,000 to cover our remaining development and marketing costs.
