Overview
This is where we need your help!
We risk major service disruption or closure past December of 2010. It is paramount that we purchase our own building. Our lease payment is detrimental to our existence. The purchase of our own building will enable us to reduce our operating costs from 12% to 8% which represents a 33% reduction.
The goal for 2010 is to eliminate our largest expense which is rent. By eliminating the rental expense, it will afford us the opportunity to continue to serve the growing needs of our community on a consistent basis. We are currently at 30% of our goal of raising $500,000 but still need to raise an additional $350,000. We've determined that we will be relocating to a smaller, more affordable building. We are excited that the search has already begun and feel we are in a very strong position, given the current economic and real estate environment, to secure a favorable price on a building that will meet our ongoing needs.
