Provide a safe indoor playground for all children in Cheyenne. Cheyenne Family YMCA

The Pepsi grant funding will allow us to build an indoor playground that will enable thousands of kids in Cheyenne to play in a warm, safe, and caring enviornment.  The Cheyenne Family YMCA would like to build the indoor playground and provide staff to supervise and provide active learning programs.   Playground will be designed for children off all ages with learning and creative centers. The playgrond will be available to all children and families.  The indoor playground will allow for kids to be active and get physical activity throughout the year, even in the winter when it is difficult to be active outside.  Less time in front of the television and vidoe games and more time running, jumping, active play and other playground games.  The staff will provide supervision to provide a safe environment for all children.  Playground will increase family time at the YMCA by providing a place for the entire family.
