Bunnies and squirrels and birds... Oh my!

Well, we are nearing the end of July and the middle of our baby season! May seems like a distant memory of promoting and voting with a wonderful end result! We are so thankful for all the fantastic support we received that ultimately lead to us being Pepsi Refresh Project Finalists.  The hospital is hopping with activity as we admit orphaned cottontail rabbits, grey squirrels, and many different species of songbirds daily.

We have started our first project of repairing the roof of the outdoor songbird cage, which will allow for us to move some of the weaned Blue Jays, Robins and Grackles outside so we can make room for the smaller, late summer babies... Cedar waxwings, swallows and goldfinches to name a few.

We'll try to get some pictures up in the next few days so you can see what we are up to!!
