Overview
Have you ever wondered where the local musical opportunities are in your community? The Hudson Valley Youth Wind Ensembles is the place where talented elementary & jr. high age band students come together to be inspired and to create amazing music together.
The goal of the Ensembles is to provide a fun, innovative, outstanding musical opportunity for the young band students in the community and to be able to share our dream with our own and other communities. HVYWE challenges talented instrumental musicians to aspire beyond what is available to them in school.
The Pepsi Refresh money will be used to provide scholarships for the children and to get the message out about the HVYWE. The end result: a 100 piece Elementary Youth Wind Ensemble and a 100 piece Jr. High Youth Wind Ensemble that will perform a public concert for the community in June.
