Overview
The Humane Society of York County is a no-kill animal shelter which is moving to a 4500 sq. ft. location in Ft.Mill, SC. in October 2010. Our veterinarian is also moving with us to this new/improved/larger facility.
Our new facility must be upfit, which means new AC/Heat, plumbing, offices, storage, cat & dog quarantine areas, cat/dog adoption areas, cat area, dog runs, bathing and feeding areas.
We currently do not receive any funds from federal, state, or local groups. 100% of our revenue comes from donations. We are fundraising through events, our thrift store, capital support campaigns, and selling t-shirts.
Any support you can give us would be most appreciated as this move is costly from the start, the upfit and then the eventual transition to the new facility.
