Equine Therapy Program needs roof on arena for lessons year round. Horses with Hearts, Inc.

Horses with Hearts provides recreational equine assisted activities for individuals with special needs i.e., physical, mental & emotional. Lessons are currently  weather dependent. By constructing a roof over our arena, our lessons can run without interruption. A roof will also allow us to expand from a seasonal program to a full time year round program.    

Currently we provide services April thru October & dream of the day we can provide this opportunity year round & without interruption. 

In the words of one mother, in a world full of things my child cannot do, this is something she CAN do & looks forward to. We can only imagine the dissappointment when lessons are cancelled due to rain. During 2009, over 30% of our lessons had to be cancelled due to rainy weather.

-serviced 25 students/257 lessons

-hosted field trip WV School Deaf & Blind
