Overview
The HOPE FOR DOGS project will provide financial assistance for dogs in need of treatments for major medical issues such as: cancer, diabetes, cataract surgery, epilepsy, joint, heart, kidney, liver, heartworm disease. Dogs who qualify may be in foster care or with adoptive families.
Canine cancer affects 1 out of every 3 dogs. Diabetes in dogs is becoming increasingly more common. Seizures are very common in dogs. Advances in veterinary medicine offer new and improved medications and treatments designed to either save a dog’s life or improve their quality of life. The cost of treatment can put a tremendous financial strain on a rescue organization’s or an adoptive family's budget.
That’s where we want to help. HOPE FOR DOGS is designed to provide funds to foster dogs or to qualified families who might not otherwise be able to afford to provide necessary, specialized veterinary care to a loving canine companion.
