Overview

The "Go Green for Animals!" project is dedicated to bringing awareness to the importance of animal rescues across the country. We plan to launch this program in the Springfield, MO region growing to the Midwest and then nationwide based on funding.

*Of the 74.8 million pets in America, only 10% were adopted

*For every animal that gets adopted, one gets put down. (Although in our area it is more realistically - for every 10 dogs that are in animal control - only 2 will make it out alive.)

*When you see pink you think breast cancer awarenes....Yellow = livestrong! And now when you see kelly green you will think RESCUE AN ANIMAL! Don't shop! Adopt!

We will use the Pepsi grant to buy green collars that say "ADOPT ME" in white for all animals available for adoption to sport around town. This will increase awareness, brand the color for the cause, help increase adoptions, and therefore lowering the euthanization rates.

How will the 5K be Used?
