Overview

With $50,000 we will be able to refurbish six tennis courts.  Typical refurbishing costs betwwen $40,000 and up to $60,000.  If we are lucky enough to avoid cost overruns the remaining funds will be used for fence repair, facility upgrades and other general maintenance.

This project will immediately benefit student - athletes but it will also serve as a bright spot for a community facing serious economic challenges.  School budgets have been slashed and folks are concerned about negative impact these cuts will have on our students and our town.  One small success will do much to demonstrate tha we can still move forward in tough times.

The ideal timeline for the project would be to start in mid July, soon after high school graduation.  This would allow for the work to be completed prior to the start of the girls tennis season and the new school year.

We will need the services of a tennis court contractor and, possibly a fencing construction contractor.

How will the 50K be Used?

Budget Notes: We will use all of our budget towards the tennis courts. We will find a bid that meets our financial means.
$ 50,000 All of the money will be directly spent on refurbishing the courts.
