Overview
The Game Changers are developing the world's first video game designed exclusively to support the teaching and learning of non-violent skills and concepts. We are a group of high school students who want to prevent the violence we see in our schools by helping kids learn how to get what they want without getting violent.
So, last year, we assembled a team of violence prevention experts, teachers and software developers to integrate lessons about non-violence into an exciting, 3D, multiplayer video game.
This video game is making a difference in our community and now we want to bring it to yours. With $250,000 we can take this game to the next level with :
- 2 more levels and enhanced graphics
- an online training module to help 200 classroom teachers use this game; and
- a web-based distribution system to deliver the game to over 12,000 students across the US.
Your vote brings this experience to kids across the country and helps us teach the next generation to choose peace.
