Overview
foundation44 knows that school counselors in this state have large caseloads. Our aim is to team with counselors to increase the percentage of students admitted to college. This endeavor will improve the future of the students as well as the community. foundation44's 750+ Campaign will identify 750 high school seniors from the San Gabriel Valley who would not have applied to college and assist them in gaining college admissions. We will supply high school students with one-on-one counseling sessions, SAT preparation classes, tutoring, and writing workshops, while assisting families and students from all backgrounds with the process of selecting and finding funding. There are nearly 4000 colleges in the US with varying admission requirements allowing us to help these students find their college match.
Deliverables: Recruit 25 high schools; Recruit 30 seniors per school; Review academic records; Provide SAT/tutoring classes; Assist each student with the admissions process.
