Overview

A mobile preschool van called the Family Fun Van, takes a readiness program into the community at four different sites on four days of the week.  It provides age appropriate activities for children ages, three to five. These programs are intended for the lower economic families who are not served through any other available programs.  A team of four qualified staff trained in early childhood learning, setup and implement this program under the supervision of a state certified teacher.  The program provides free play, reading instruction, physical activity, and craft.  Snacks and a free book are also provided. Parents are instructed in appropriate learning activities they can do at home with their children.  Family resource information is available at each site.
