Our purpose is to serve Alabama veterans by providing free specialized therapeutic services designed to alleviate emotional distress, foster emotional healing, and enhance quality of life.  DreamPeace offers a safe environment where clients can experience the support and assistance they need to regain their lives; to find that safe place far removed from the traumas of war. We offer intensive, customized programs at no cost to the client. Our therapists provide specialized treatment options to best meet the needs of each individual we serve. These treatment options include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a powerful method of psychotherapy. EMDR effectively decreases/eliminates the symptoms of PTSD for the majority of clients. EMDR can be an efficient and rapid treatment. We feel it both our duty and desire to restore these individuals to a state of mental wellness and peace.
